Tidewater BBYO held their first ever in-person Hamantaschen Bake on Sunday, March 6.

Hosted by the Arluk family, BBYO teens crafted their hamantaschen from scratch to hot-out-of-the-oven. Both traditional ingredients, such as raspberry and apricot jams, and less traditional choices such as Hershey’s kisses, milk and white chocolate chips, butterscotch morsels, and caramel were utilized for some interesting filling combinations.

After enjoying tasting their creations, the teens departed with their homemade hamantaschen to share with friends and family while expressing that this event must happen again next year.
